Crossing
In McAllen, Texas across the border from Reynosa, Mexico, refugee families cross the Rio Grande River at its lowest point seeking safety from violence and oppression. Volunteers in Texas and across the southwest transport the refugees to shelters and provide them with clothing, shelter and medical and legal services before they go on to their host families across the United States.
