Sacred Ground
This series of photographs trace the history of United States wars with images of war memorials and Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, DC. We have been at war for approximately 182 years since 1777. We have enjoyed 51 years of peace. This folio demonstrates the scope of human sacrifice that we have endured and the true cost of war and conflict. Exhibition: Attleboro Arts Museum; Brant Gallery, Massachusetts College of Art. Artist book: thirty-six photographs, time-line, quotations and commentary housed in a wooden box with an engraved marble top.
